ولما كانت البدع المضلّة جهلاً بصفات الله وتكذيبًا بما أخبر به عن نفسه وأخبر به عنه رسوله عنادًا وجهلا كانت من أكبر الكبائر إن قصرت عن الكفر وكانت أحبّ إلى إبليس من كبار الذنوب» كما قال بعض السلف: البدعة أحبٌ إلى إبليس من المعصية» لأنّ المعصية يتاب منهاء والبدعة لا يتاب منهاأ. وقال إبليس: أهلكثُ بني آدم بالذنوب» وأهلكوني بالاستخفار وبلا إله إلا الله. فلما رأيت ذلك بثثتُ فيهم الأهواءً» فهم يذنبون» ولا يتوبون» لأنّهم يحسبون أنهم يحسنون صنْعا!50

وإنّما كانت معصية الله سببًا لمحق بركة الرزق والأجل؛ لأنّ الشيطان موكِّل بها وبأصحابهاء فسلطاله عليهم» وحوالله على هذا الديوان» وأهله أصحائه؛ وكلٌّ شىء يتصل به الشيطان ويقارنه؛ فبركته ممحوقة. ولهذا شرع ذكرٌ اسم الله تعالى عند الأكل والشرب واللبس والركوب والجماع» لما في مقارنة اسم الله من البركة. وذكرٌ اسمه يطرد الشيطان» فتحصل البركة؛ ولا معارض لها.
