وكان عمر بن الخطاب يقول لحذيفة: أنشدك الله هل سمّانى لك رسول الله كلة؟ يعني في المنافقين فيقول: لا» ولا أزكي بعدك أحدًا.

فسمعث شيخنا رحمة الله ْ يقول: ليس مراده تي لا أبرىء غيرك من النفاق» بل المراد: لا أفتح عليّ هذا البابء فكلٌ من سألني: هل سمانى لك رسول الله ل [٠/ب] فأزكيه:

قلت: وقريب من هذا قول النبي كَل للذي سأله أن يدعو له أن يكون من السبعين ألقَّا الذين يدخلون الجنة بغير حساب: «سبقك بها عكاشة». ولم يُرد أنّ عكاشة وحده أحنٌّ بذلك ممن عداه من الصحابة. ولكن لو دعا 72 0 لقام؟ آخر وآخر ُ وانفتح الباب 6 وربّما قام من لم يستحق أن يكون منهم. فكان الإمساك أولى» والله أعلم.
