وسبب ذلك أنّ القلب كلّما قَرْبٌ من العشق وقويّ اتصاله به بَعْدَ من الله» فأبعد القلوب من الله قلوب عشاق الصور. وإذا بعد القلب من الله طرقته الآفات من كل ناحية» فإنَ الشيطان يتولأه. ومن تولاًء عد واستولى عليه لم يأل وبالاً؛ ولم يدح أذىّ يمكنه إيصاله إليه إلا أوصله. فما الظنّ بقلب تمكن منه عدو وأُحرّصنُ الخلتى على غيّه وفساده؛ وبعد منه وليه ومن لا سعادة له ولا فلاح ولا سرور إلا بقربه وولايته؟
