والنفوس تحبٌ الراحة والدعة والرفاهية» وذلك شرّ لها لإفضائه إلى فوات هذا المحبوب. فالعاقل لا ينظر إلى لذة المحبوب العاجل فيؤثرها؛ وألم المكروه العاجل فيرغب عنه؛ فإنْ ذلك قد يكون شرًا له؛ بل قد يجلب عليه غاية الألم» ويفوته أعظمٌ اللذّة. بل عقلاء الدنيا يتحمّلون المشاق المكروهة لما يُعقبهم من اللذة بعدهاء وإن كانت 3 1 7.
