فإنَ سالك هذه الطريق إن فاته حظه من الدنيا فقد ظفر بالحظ العالي الذي لا فوت معه»؛ وإن حصل للعبد حصل له كل شيء» وإن فاته فاته كل شيء. وإن ظفر بحظه من الدنيا ناله على أهنأ الوجوه. فليس للعبد أنفع من هذه الطريق ولا أوصل منها إلى لذته وبهجته وسعادته. وبالله التوفيق.

والمحبوب قسمان: محبوب لنفسه» ومحبوب لغيره. والمحبوب لغيره لابدّ أن ينتهي إلى المحبوب لنفسه؛ دفعًا للتسلسل المحال. وكلٌ ما سوى المحبوب الحق فهو محبوب لغيره؛ وليس شيء يُحَبَ لنفسه إلا الله وحده» وكل ما سواه مما يُحَبٌ فإنّما محبته تبع لمحبة الربد تعالى» كمحبة ملائكته وأنبيائه وأوليائه» فإنّها تبع لمحبته سبحانه؛ وهي من لوازم محبته» فإنّ محبة المحبوب توجب محبة ما يحبّه.

فاعلم أنّه لا يُحَبَ لذاته إلا من كماله من لوازم ذاته» وإلهيته وربوبيته وغناه من لوازم ذاته. وما سواه فإنّما ييغض ويكرّه لمنافاته محابّه ومضادته لها وبغضه وكراهته بحسب قوة هذه المنافاة وضعفهاء فما كان أشد منافاة لمحابّه كان أشدّ كراهةً من الأعيان والأوصاف والأفعال والإرادات وغيرها.
