وأما ما يظنّه بعض الغالطين أنّ المحبة أكمل من الخلّة» وأنَّ إبراهيم خليل الله( ومحمد حبيب الله؛ فمن جهله. فإنّ المحبة عامة» والخلّة خاصة» والخلّة نهاية المحبة. وقد أخبر النبى كَلِلةٍ أن الله اتخذه خلياك ونفى أن يكون له خليل غير ربّه؛ مع إخباره بمحبته لعائشة ولأبيها ولعمر بن الخطاب وغيرهم.
