ذهبت اللذّات» وأعقبت الحسرات. وانقضت الشهوة؛ وأورثت الشقوة. تمتعوا قليلاً» وعُذّبوا طويلاً. رتّعوا مرتعًا وخيمًاء فأعقبهم عذابًا أليمًا. أسكرتهم خمرة تلك الشهوة؛ فما استفاقوا منها إلا في ديار المعذبين. وأرقدتهم تلك الغفلة. فما استيقظوا إلا وهم في منازل الهالكين. فندموا واللَّهِ أشدّ الندامة حين لا ينفع الندم. وبكوا على ما أسلفوه بدل الدموع بالدم.

ولقد قرّب الله سبحانه مسافة العذاب بين هذه الأمة وبين إخوانهم في (87/ب] العمل» فقال مخوّفا لهم أن يقع الوعيد: #وَمَا هي مِنّ التَْلِيِببَعيدٍ 62 (هود/ 87]. فيا ناكحي الذُّكرانٍ يهنيكم البشرى فيومٌ معادٍ الناس إن لكم أجرا كلوا واشربوا وازنُوا ولوطوا وأبشروا فإنكم زَمَا إلى الجنّة الحمرا فإخوانكم قد مهّدوا الدارّ قبلكم وقالوا: إلينا عجُلوا لكم البشرى وهانحن أسلاف لكم في انتظاركم | سيجمعنا الجبَارُ في ناره الكبرى؟ ولا تحسُّبوا أن الذين نكحتم يغيبون عنكم بل ترونهم جَهرا ويلعن كن منكم لخليله ويشقّى به المحزونُ في الكرّة الأخرى يعذّب كل منهم بشريكه | كما اشتركا في لذ توجب الوزّرا
