فليس بعد مفسدة القتل أعظم من مفسدته. ولهذا شرع فيه القتل على أشنع الوجوه وأفحشها وأصعبها. ولو بلغ العبدّ أنَ امرأته أو حرمته قَتَلتْ كان أسهل عليه من أن يبلغه أنّها زنت.

وقال سعد بن عبادة: لو رأيثُ رجلا مع امرأتي لضربته بالسيف غير مُصْفّح. فبلغ ذلك رسول الله كَلةٍ فقال: ١«تعجبون من غيرة سعد؟ الله لأنا أغب منه» واللَدُأغْيَءُ متّى. ومن أجل غيرة الله ح”ه الفواحشر والله عير منه » و عير مني. ومن جل غيرة لله حرم لفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن». متفق عليه.
