ولما كانت مفسدة الزنى من أعظم المفاسد» وهي منافية لمصلحة نظام العالم في حفظ الأنساب» وحماية الفروج» وصيانة الحرمات؛ وتوقي ما يُوقع أعظم العداوة والبغضاء بين الناس من إفساد كل منهم امرأة صاحبه وابنته وأخته وأمّه؛ وفي ذلك خراب العالم - كانت تلي مفسدة القتل فى الكبر. ولهذا قرنها الله سبحانه بها فى كتابه؛ ورسوله بها فى سئته » كما تقدّم:

وقد أكد سبحانه حرمته بقوله: «والَِينَ لا نيت مم اله ها ءَاخَرَ ولا يلون النفس آل حرم الله إلا باحق ولا ينوبت ومن يَفْعَل ذلك يُلقَ اما ل يُصَدمَف لَه العصذَابُ يَومَ الْقبَِمَةٍ وََخْلُدَ فيد يسان ل إلا من تَابَّ » [الفرقان/ 8+ - 70]» فقرن الزنى بالشرك وقتل النفس» وجعل جزاء ذلك الخلودة في العذاب المضاعف مالم يرفع العبد موجب ذلك بالتوبة والإيمان والعمل الصالح.
