والتي على الأبدان أيضًا نوعان: نوع في الدنيا. ونوع في الأخرى. وشذّتها ودوامها بحسب مفاسد ما رتبت عليه في الشدة والخقة.

فليس في الدنيا والآخرة شرّ أصلاً إلا الذنوب وعقوباتهاء فالشر اسم لذلك كله. وأصله من شر النفس وسيئات الأعمال؛ وهما الأصلان اللذان كان النبى كِليةِ يستعيذ منهما فى خطبته بقوله: «ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ومن سيئات أعمالنا». وسيئات الأعمال من شرور النفس» فعاد الشرّ كلّه إلى شرّ النفس» فإنّ سيئات الأعمال من فروعه وثمراته.

وقد اختلف في معنى قوله: «ومن سيثئات أعمالنا»» هل معناه: السيّىء من أعمالنا» فيكون من باب إضافة النوع إلى جنسه ويكون بمعنى «من»؟ وقيل: معناه: من عقوباتها التي تسوء» فيكون التقدير: ومن عقوبات أعمالنا التي تسوؤنا.
