وكثيرًا ما تجد أدعيةً دعا بها قوم» فاستجيب لهم» ويكون قد اقترن بالدعاء ضرورة صاحبه» وإقباله على الله» أو حسنةٌ تقدمت منه جعل الله سبحانه إجابة دعوته شكرًا لحسنته» أو صادف وقتَ إجابة ونحو ذلك فأجيبت دعوته. فيظن الظانّ أن السرّ في لفظ ذلك الدعاء» فيأخذه مجردًا عن؟ تلك الأمور التى قارتته من ذلك الداعى. وهذا كما إذا استعمل رجل دواء نافعًا فى الوقت الذي ينبغي على الوجه الذي ينبغى» فانتفع به 6 وظل؟ غيره أن استعمال هذا الدواء بمجرده كاف؟ فى حصول المطلوب؛ كان غالطًا. وهذا موضع يغلط فيه كثير من الناس.

ومن هذا أنه قد يتفق دعاؤه باضطرار عند قبر فيجاب» فيظنّ الجاهل أنْ السرّ للقبر» ولم يعلم أن السرّ للاضطرار وصدق اللجأ إلى الله. فإذا حصل ذلك في بيت من بيوت الله كان أفضل وأحبٌ إلى الله.
