قال عبدالله بن عباس: إنّ للحسنة ضياءً في الوجه؛ ونورا في القلب» وسعةٌ في الرزق» وقوةٌ في البدن؛ ومحبةً في قلوب الخلق. وإنَّ للسيئة سوادًا في الوجه وظلمة في القلب» ووهًا في البدن» ونقضًا في الرزق» وبغضة في قلوب الخلق.
