قال الإمام أحمد: حدثنا يحيى بن غيلان» حدثنا رشدين بن سعدا عن حرملة بن عمران التجيبي» عن غُقبة بن مسلم» عن غُقبة بن عامر» عن النبي كَل قال: «إذا رأيتَ الله عز وجل يعطي العبد من الدنيا على معاصيه ما يجبٌ» فإنما هو استدراج». ثم تلا قوله عز وجل: فَكَكَا دا م دُححَرُها بوء فَتَحْنا عَلِِهِمٌ أَببٌ كل كت حك ذا فرحا يمآ أونواآً أَحذْتهم بَعْتَدٌ داهم مُبلِسُون 60 [الأنعام/ 44].
