Classification: Statement of the Salaf (as cited) (attribution formula: وقال الإمام أحمد)
وقال الإمام أحمد: حدثنا أبو معاوية» حدثنا الأعمش؛ عن سليمان بن ميسرة»؛ عن طارق بن شهاب يرفعه قال: «دخل رجل الجنة في ذباب» ودخل النار رجل في ذباب». قالوا: وكيف ذلك يا رسول الله؟ قال مرّ رجلان على قوم لهم صنم لا يجوزه أحد حتى يقرّب له شيئًا. فقالوا لأحدهما: قَرّب» فقال: ليس عندي شىء. قالوا له: قرب ولو ذبابًا. فقوب ذبابًّاء فخلا سبيله؛ فدخل النار. وقالوا للآخر: قب» فقال: ما كنت لأقرئب لأحد شيئًا دون الله عز وجل» فضربوا عنقه» فدخل الجنة».
