وهذا غلط قبيح» فإنٌ محمد بن جعفر هذا هو الخرائطيّ» ووفاته سنة سبع وعشرين وثلاث ماثة؛ فمحال أن يدرك شيحّه يعقوب ابنَ أبي تجيح لا سيّما وقد رواه فى كتاب الاعتلال؟ عن يعقوب هذا » عن الزبير عن عبدالملك» عن عبدالعزيز » عن ابن أبي نجيح.

وكلام حفّاظ الإسلام في إنكار هذا الحديث هو الميزان» وإليهم يرجع في هذا الشأن. وما صحّحه؛ بل ولا حسّنه أحد يُعوّل في علم الحديث عليه؛ ويُرجّع في التصحيح إليه؛ ولا من عادتّه التساهل والتسامح» فإنّه لم يُطتُف نفسّه له. ويكفي أنّ ابن طاهر الذي يتساهل فى أحاديث التصوف» ويروي منها الغثٌ والسمين والمنخنقة والموقوذة قد أنكره» وحكم ببطلانه.
