وقد رفع إلى ابن عباس - وهو بعرفة شابةٌ قد انتحل حتى عاد عظمًا بلا لحم فقال: ما شأن هذا؟ قالوا: به العشق. فجعل ابن عباس يستعيذ بالله من العشق عامَةً يومه.

الثامن: أن العشق كما تقدّم - هو الإفراط فى المحبة بحيث يستولي المعشوق على قلب العاشق حتى لا يخلوا من تخيّله وذكره والفكر فيه 6 بحيث لا يغيب عن خا طره وذهنه. فعند ذلك تشتغل النفس عن استخدام القوى الحيوانية والنفسانية؛ فتتعطل تلك القوى» فيحدث بتعطّلها؟ من الأفات على البدن والروح ما يعزْ دواؤه أو يتعلّر 7 6 فتتغيّر أفعاله وصفاته ومقاصده 6 ويختل جميع ذلك 6 فيعجز البشر عن صلاحه 6 كما قير ٠ الحبٌ أوَّلَ ما يكون لجاجةٌ تأتي به وتسوقه الأقدار حتى إذا خاض الفتى لُججَ الهوى جاءت أمور لا تطاق كِبارُ
