وقد قال أبو أمامة بن سهل 0 بن حتيف: دخلت أنا وعروة بن الزبير على عائشة رضي الله عنها فقالت: لوأ رأيتما رسول الله كَل في مرض له» وكانت عندي ستة دنانير - أو سبعة - فأمرني رسول الله كَيةٍ (01/ب] أن أفرّقها. قالت: فشغلني وجع النبي كي حتى عافاه الله. ثم سألنى عنها فقال: «ما فعلتٍ؟ أكنت فرّقتٍ الستَة الدنانيّر؟» فقلت: لاء والله لقد كان شغلني وجعّك. قالت: فدعا بهاء فوضعها في كفه؛ فقال: «ما ظنٌُ نبىّ لل لو لقي الله وهذه عنده؟» وفي لفظ: «ما ظنٌُ محمدٍ بربّه لو لقي الله؛ وهذه عنده؟».

فيا لله ما ظنُ أصحاب الكبائر والظَّلَمةِ بالله إذا لقُوه؛ ومظالم العباد عندهم؟ فإن كان ينفعهم قولّهم: خسنا ظنوننا بك»؛ لم يعَّبْ ظالم ولا فاسى؟. فليصنع العبد ما شاءء وليرتكب كل ما نهاه الله عنه؛ وليحسن ظّه بالله؛ فإن النار لا تمسّه فسبحان الله» ما يبلغ الغرور بالعبد.
