ورفع إلى الحجاج رجلٌ اغتصب أخته على نفسهاء فقال: احبسوه؛ واسألوا مَن هاهنا من أصحاب رسول الله كِيةٍ. فسألوا عبدالله بن مطرّف» فقال: سمعت رسول الله كل يقول؟: امن تخطى حرم المؤمنين فَخْطُوا وسطه بالسيف».
