ولقد ري بعضٌ الأكابر من أهل العلم في النوم» فسئل عن حاله؛ فقال: أنا موقوف على كلمة قلنّها. قلتُ: ما أحوج الناسّ إلى غيث فقيل لى: وما يدريك؟ أنا أعلم بمصلحة عبادي.
