وقد قال النبي كَيةٍ: «لا تقتل نفنٌ ظلمًا بغير حقّ إلا كان على ابن آدم الأول كِثْلَ من دمها؟ ْ لأنّه أول من سن القتل م(. ولم يجىء هذا الوعيد فى أوّل زانٍ» ولا أوّل سارق» ولا أول شارب مسكر؛ وإن كان أول المشركين قد يكون أولى بذلك من أول قاتل؛ لأنه أول من سن الشرك. ولهذا رأى النبي كِيةِ عمرو بن لَحَيّ يعذّب أعظمٌ العذاب في النار» لأنّه أول من غير دين إبراهي؟:
