فالمعرض عنه له من ضنك المعيشة بحسب إعراضه» وإن تنعّم في الدنيا بأصناف النعيم» ففي قلبه من الوحشة والذلٌ والحسرات التي تقطع القلوب والأماني الباطلة والعذاب الحاضر مافيه» وإنّما يواريه عنه سكرٌ الشهوات والعشق وحبٌ الدنيا والرياسة» إن لم ينضم إلى ذلك سكرٌ الخمر فسكر هذه الأمور أعظم من سكر الخمرء فإنّه يفيق صاحبه وبيصحوء وسكرٌ الهوى وحبٌ الدنيا لا يصحو صاحبه إلا إذا صار فى عسكر الأموات.
