وفى الصحيح أيضًا عنه أنّه؟ قال: «لا أحدّ أَغيدُ من الله من أجل ذلك حرّم الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن. ولا أحدّ أحبٌ إليه العذرٌ من الله» من أجل ذلك أرسل الرسل مبشّرين ومنذرين. ولا أحدّ أحبٌ إليه المدحٌ من الله من أجل ذلك أثنى على نفسه».

فجمع في هذا الحديث بين الغيرةٍ التي أصلها كراهة القبائح وبغضها» ومحبةٍ العذر الذي يوجب كمال العدل والرحمة والإحسان: وأنّه سبحانه مع شدّة غيرته يحب أن يعتذر إليه عبدّه 0 ويقبل عذرَّ من اعتذر إليه» وأنّه لا يؤاخذ عبيده بارتكاب ما يغار من ارتكابه حتى يُعذْرَ إليهم. ولأجل ذلك أرسل رسله» وأنزل كتبه إعذارًا وإنذارً.
