وذكر الإمام أحمد عن مالك بن دينار قال: كان حبر من أحبار بني إسرائيل يغشى منزله الرجال والنساءً» فيعظهم» ويذكرهم بأيام الله. فرأى بعض بنيه يومًا يغمز النساء؛ فقال: مهلا يا بني؛ مهلا يا بني. فسقط من سريره؛ فانقطع تخاعه؛ وأسقطت امرأته 6 وقتل بنوه. فأوحى الله إلى لبيهم أن أخبرٌ فلانًا الخَبْرَّ أني لا أخرج؟ من صلبك صِدّيقًا أبدًا. ما كان غضبّك لي إلا أن قلتَ: مهلا يا بني» مها يا بني

وذكر الإمام أحمداً ْ من حديث عبدالله بن مسعود أن رسول الله كل قال: «إياكم ومحفّراتِ الذنوب» فإنهن يجتمعن على الرجل حتى يهلكنه». وأنَ رسول الله كله ضرب لهن مثلا كمثل القوم نزلوا أرض فلاة» فحضر صنيع القوم فجعل الرجل ينطلقء فيجيء بالعود َ والرجل يجىء بالعود؟ » حتى جمعوا سوادًا 6 وأججوا نارا 6 وأنضجوا ما قذفوا فيها.
