وذكر ابن أبي الدنياأ من حديث جعفر بن محمد عن أبيه عن جدّه قال: قال على: يأتي على الناس زمان لا يبقى من الإسلام إلا اسمه؛ ولا من القرآن إلا رسمه. مساجدهم يومئذ عامرة؛ وهي خراب من الهدى. علماؤهم شو من تحت أديم السماء. منهم خرجت الفتنة؛ وفيهم تعود.
