وفي المسندا من حديث أنس قال: قال رسول الله كَيةٍ: «لمّا عُرجَ بي مررت بقوم لهم أظفار من نحاس يخمشون وجوههم وصدورهم. فقلت: من هؤلاء يا جبريل؟» قال: هؤلاء الذين يأكلون لحوم الناس ويقعون في أعراضهم.
