وفي صحيج البخاري 09 من حديث أبي سعيد قال: قال رسول الله َيةٍ: «إذا وُضعت الجنازة» واحتملها الرجال على أعناقهم » فإن كانت صالحة قالت: قدّمونى» قدّمونى؛ وإن كانت غير صالحة قالت: يا ويلها أين تذهبون بها؟ يسمع صوتها كل شيء إلا الإنسان؛ ولو سمعها الإنسان لصّعقّ».

وفي مسند الإمام؟ أحمد من حديث أبي أمامة قال: قال رسول الله كيةٍ: «تدنو الشمس يوم القيامة على قدر ميل» ويُزاد في حرّها كذا وكذا. تغلي منها الرؤوس» كما تغلي القدور. يعرّقون فيها على قدر خطاياهم» منهم من يبلغ إلى كعبيه» ومنهم من يبلغ إلى ساقيه؛ ومنهم من يبلغ إلى وسطه؛ ومنهم من يُلجِمَّه العرّق».
