فالله سبحانه يعوّض عن كلّ ما سواه؟» ولا يعوّض منه شيء. ويغني عن كل شيء؛ ولا يغني عنه شيء. ويمنع من كل شيء. ولا يمنع منه شيء. ويجير من كل شيء؛ ولا يجير منه شيء. فكيف يستغني العبد عن طاعة من هذا شأنّه [1/34] طرفة عين؟

ومن عقوباتها: أنها تُخْرِجٌ العبدّ من دائرة الإحسان» وتمنعه ثوابَ المحسنين. فإنّ الإحسان إذا باشر القلبّ منَّعَه من المعاصى» فإنَ من عَبَدَ الله كأنّه يراه لم يكن ذلك إلا لاستيلاء ذكره ومحبته وخوفه ورجائه على قلبه» بحيث يصير كأنه يشاهده» وذلك يحول بينه وبين إرادة المعصية» فضلا عن مواقعتها. فإذا خرج من دائرة الإحسان فاته صحبة رفقهل الخاصة» وعيشهم الهنيء» ونعيمهم التام.
