ومنها: أنْ كل معصية من المعاصي فهي ميراث عن أمة من الأمم التي أهلكها الله عز وجل. فاللوطية: ميراث عن قوم لوط. وأخذ الحق بالزائد» ودفعه بالناقص: ميراث عن قوم شعيب. والعلو في الأرض والفساد: ميراث عن فرعون وقومه. والتكبّر والتجبّر: ميراث عن قوم هود. فالعاصي لابس ثياب بعض هذه الأمم» وهم أعداء الله.

وحدٌ الزاني المحصن مشتقّ من عقوبة الله سبحانه لقوم لوط بالقذف بالحجارة. وذلك لاشتراك الزنى واللواط في الفحش» وفي كل منهما فساد يناقض حكمة الله في خلقه وأمره. فإنّ في اللواط من المفاسد ما يفوت الحصر والتعداد. ولأنْ يُقتل المفعولٌ به خير له من أن يُوتى» [81/ب] فإنّه يُفُسد فسادًا لا يرجى له بعده صلاح أبدًا. ويذهب خيره كلّه؛ وتمُصنّ الأرض ماويّة الحياء من وجهه؛ فلا يستحي بعد ذلك لا من الله ولا من خلقه» وتعمل في قلبه وروحه نطفة الفاعل ما يعمل السمّ في البدن؟ إ:

وقد تقدّم أن العقوبة الشرعية شرعها الله سبحانه على قدر مفسدة الذنب وتقاضي الطبع له وجعلها سبحانه ثلاثة أنواع: القتل» والقطع» والجلد. [1/50] وجعل القتل بإزاء الكفر وما يليه ويقرب منه؛ وهو الزنا واللواط» فإنّ هذا يفسد الأديان» وهذا يفسد الأنساب ونوع الإنسان.
