قيل: نعم» ينسى نفسّه أعظم نسيان. قال تعالى: # ولا توا كآَزِنَ ثرا اله تأَسَهُم شه وك هُمْ لفوت 462 [الحشر/.]١١ فلما نسوا ربّهم سبحانه نسيهم وأنساهم أنفسهم كما قال: دنا الله توي # [التوبة/ 77]» فعاقب سبحانه من نسيّه عقوبتين: إحداهما: أنه سبحانه نسيه. والثانية: أنّه أنساه نفسّه.

فإن قيل: كيف ينسى العبد نفسّه؟ وإذا نسي نفسه» فأيٍّ شيء يذكر؟ وما معنى نسيانه نفسّه؟

فأمر بتقواه» ونهى أن يتشبّه عباده المؤمنون بمن نسي بترك تقراء؛ وأخبر أنه عاقب من ترك التقوى بأن أنساه نفسه » أي أنساه مصالحهاء وما ينجيها من عذابه» وما يوجب له الحياة الأبدية وكمال لذتها 0 وسرورها ونعيمها: فأنساه ذلك كله جزاء لما نسيه من عظمته وخوفه والقيام بأمره. فترى العاصي مهملا لمصالح نفسه مضيَّعًا لها 6 قد أغفل الله قلبه عن ذكره» وانبع هواه» وكان أمره فرطًا. قد انفرطت عليه مصالح دنياه وآخرته» وقد فرّط فى سعادته الأبدية» واستبدل بها أدنى ما يكون من لذَةٍ إنما هي سحابة صيف أو خيال طيف
