وفي المسندا من حديث ثوبان قال: قال رسول الله كَةٍ: «إِنّ الرجل لَيُحْرَم الرزقٌ بالذنب يصيبه».

Also in the Musnad of al-Imam Ahmad ' on the authority of Thawban who said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Certainly, a man can be denied some provisions due to a sin he perpetrates.’”Ibn al-Qayyim’s text
وليست سعةٌ الرزق والعمل بكثرته» ولا طول العمر بكثرة الشهور والأعوام» ولكن سعة الرزق والعمر بالبركة فيه.

وفيه أيضًا من حديث ثوبان: «لا يردّ القدرّ إلا الدعاءً ولا يزيد في العمر إلا البرّ» وإنّ الرجل ليحرم الرزق بالذنب يصيبه».

ومن عقوباتها: أنها تمحق بركة العمر » وبركة الرزق» وبركة العلم؛ وبركة العمل» وبركة الطاعة. وبالجملة»؛ تمحق بركة الدين والدنيا. فلا تجد أقلّ بركة في عمره ودينه ودنياه ممن عصى الله. وما مُحقت البركة من الأرض إلا بمعاصي الخلق. قال تعالى: #وَلَوْ أن أَهْلَ الْشُر ءامنا وَأَنَقَوا لفتحا عليم بَرَكَنتٍ مَنّ السَسمءٍ وا لَأَرّضِ» [الأعراف/ 47]. وقال تعالى: وآ أسْتَقَمُوا عل اريم لَأَفَيْتهُم َه عَدَا © [الجن/ ]1١ وإنَّ العبد َيُحرّمُ الرزقّ بالذنب يصيبه.

وتأَمَلْ مقارنةً الشيطان [1©/ب] ومحلّه ودار» فإنّه لما قارن العبد واستولى عليه؛ ُرْعَت البركةٌ من عمره؛ وعمله؛ وقوله؛ ورزقه. ولمًا أتّرت طاعته فى الأرض ما أثّرت تُرعَت البركةٌ من كلّ محل ظهرت فيه طاعته. وكذلك مسكنه لما كان اللجحيم لم يكن هناك شيء من الرّوح والرّحمة والبركة.
